    Christmas on Portsmouth

    You couldn't just "go shopping" for Christmas on Portsmouth! Here is 4 year-old Dorothy Styron in 1926, with her Christmas gift from her parents, Walker (with Dorothy in the photo) and Sarah Styron. This airplane was ordered from a catalog and delivered to Portsmouth by the mail boat.

    Portsmouth Snow

    Most of us have never been on Portsmouth when there's snow. This wonderful photo of the post office/store and the Theodore & Annie Salter house (now the Visitors Center) was taken sometime in the 1950's.
